It is so nice to be surrounded by my sisters! Not sure where I would be if it were not for New Beginnings!!

I came to New beginnings church two weeks prior to losing my Dad. Through lots of prayers and continuing to follow Christ to heal my broken heart, I am saved and baptized in the name of Jesus Christ 🙌. I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary and I'm looking forward to many more years with my New Beginnings Family ❤️......... Peggy

Co-Pastor Evang. Crystal Mullins, was born and raised in Hobbs N.M. to Supt. Elder Ernest Hodge and Evang. Jean Hodge.  She has been in ministry since a very young age.  She married her husband, Pastor Samuel Mullins, March 11, 2000.  They have four children, Brian, Breanna, Brayle and Samuel Bryce.  She has further been blessed with her daughter-in-love Annika and her grand babies Lyla and Izabella.

She accepted her call into ministry at 20 years old.  She has served in the NM COGIC Jurisdiction as State youth Chairlady, Vice-President of the NM State choir, Praying District Choir President and of her home church, Pentecostal Temple.  She passed the general board in 2011 to receive her Evangelist License in the COGIC and later credentialed through COG in 2015 as an Ordained Minister.

She was fortunate to be appointed first, then elected as Hobbs District 3 City Commissioner from 2010-2015.  She has two Associate Degrees in Science, Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner – Certified.  She was also able to obtain her Crossfit Level 1 Instructor license in 2018.  

She is blessed to run a family practice clinic at American Medical Group in Carlsbad. Also, teaches CrossFit classes at Zia Strong Fitness Monday - Friday.

It was On November 11, 2018, her husband and she were installed as Senior pastors of New Beginnings COG. And it was December  2018 when God gave her the vision to start a women’s conference that has had women in attendance from multiple states and denominations going forth together as 1 body.  And God has been proving Himself to be faithful through it and throughout all of her life.

One of her favorite scriptures is, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore, I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” II Cor. 12:9-10
